15 January 2010

Dear Swimmer/Parent

The Neptune's changing village will be undergoing a revamp commencing the Monday 25th January, lasting approx. 10 weeks. The revamp will include new showers, new changing room toilets and a pre swim shower facility and new lockers. Whilst this work is being carried out the showers, toilets and entrance to the pool from the changing village will be closed. All access from the village to the pool will be via the entrance near the reception.

There will be 4 showers and 1 toilet available in the health suite at the end of the changing village, 1 toilet at the opposite end of the changing village near the group change. These toilets are for use of swimmers only.

The Sauna and Steam room are strictly out of bound to all swimmers. Any swimmers found trying to enter these facilities will be dealt with accordingly which could lead to suspension from the club.

Parents/spectators are asked to use the dry side toilets on the corridor leading to the gym.

The work will start at 8am on the 25th of Jan. Can all swimmers please ensure that they have left the changing village by this time.

Could I ask swimmers were it is possible,  to come to the pool with costume/trunks etc on underneath their clothes. This will help to avoid congestion in the changing village.

Please see the diagram on the notice board for details of the proposed work (this will be available from Tue 19th Jan)

Yours sincerely
