The objectives of M.A.S.C. |
Middlesbrough Amateur Swimming Club is promoting swimming in the Teesside area. The club is aiming to offer children the best opportunity to develop within the sport of swimming. Providing coaches for all levels of swimmer M.A.S.C. will enable children to reach their potential. M.A.S.C. is a competitive club and therefore attends all levels of galas on a regular basis. Individuals are encouraged to work together during training and to compete as a team as well as an individual. Swimming encourages self-discipline and helps young people to develop into healthy, organised and articulate individuals who will succeed in life.
The objectives of M.A.S.C. are: 1. To encourage all members to enjoy the sport of swimming. 2. To develop swimming skills and promote a healthy lifestyle. 3. To place all swimmers in the group most suited to their level of ability. 4. To improve the clubs position in all championship events e.g. N&D, NER and Nationals. 5. To continually improve the image of the club in the eyes of the public. 6. To make M.A.S.C. a club that it's members and Middlesbrough Council are proud to be associated with. 7. To be proactive in achieving the objectives above.
